I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 x64 on an ASUS T3-P5945GCX mini tower. I have the system set to never suspend (because it doesn't work) but I do have the monitor set to shut off after about 40 minutes. Usually (about 80-90%) of the time, when I come back and move the mouse to wake the monitor back up, the system will simply restart. Its inconvenient and I cant leave my monitor on all the time. Has anyone else had similar problems and any help in finding a solution would be much appreciated.
