Move program to a different Sub-Menu?

Hi - I am sure there is an easy answer and I just can't find it ... I want to customize my main applications menu ... what I want to do is move a program/icon launcher from the "Other" category/folder in my Main Menu to the "Office" category/folder ... but I can't figure it out.

What am I missing? I tried dragging it (but that only let's me put it on the panel) and I looked in various settings places ... nothing is jumping out at me.

    Thanks!

Right click the Applications section, and choose "Edit Menus"

That should set you on your way

Have you tried right-clicking on Applications and selecting Edit Menu? Create a new laucher (shortcut) and just copy the details, then remove the check mark form the application.

    No! I hadn't!

Honestly, I think getting used to the command line can be a curse ... I don't nearly "click my way around" like I used to.

Sigh. Now I feel silly. Anyway - that was really easy. Thanks!
