    Uncyclopedia on Slackware

Just in case some of you didn't know that...

The best Linux distro article on Uncyclopedia IMO. The "Usage" section especially is pure Uncyclopedia brilliance.

    Very cool!

It doesn't mention the fact the Pat "Healed Himself" from some serious illness later on.

Here's some more on Slackware :

One of those pages mentions a 51 floppy release, in my memory it was even more than that.
Haha, remember the old days ?
I remember that Slackware had a boot and a root floppy, much later it became 3 floppy disks to boot off.

    Re: Uncyclopedia on Slackware

It is rumored that Slackware's next version will be released as Slackware 5.0, in order to avoid the misfortunate consequences of "unlucky thirteen" and also to restore version number parity with the other senior distros Red Hat (which jumped from RH9 to RH1 years ago) and Debian (who are struggling to maintain their hectic "a new release every decade" pace).

I've also heard that Pat will no longer support his patch set for SLS Linux after the end of this year.
