    Need linux driver for CanoScan Lide500f scanner.

    I have a CanoScan Lide500f scanner that I've been using under Windows with satisfaction.

    I've now switched to Ubuntu 8.10 but so far I've not found any linux drivers at all for this particular scanner.

    Is there anyone else out there that has found a solution to this problem?
