    Invisible Toolbar

    Hey!
I'm new to Ubuntu and am using Xubuntu. I have, somehow, managed to hide/erase the top toolbar on the desktop, though I can still function through a right mouse click and get to Applications, Network, etc.
Any ideas how this numpty has managed to do this, plus how to get it back, please?
    Thanks,
    Ian

    1) Which version of Xubuntu are you running?

    2) What exactly do you mean by the "top toolbar"? Are your menus (eg Applications, Places etc) still visible?

    3) Is the bottom toolbar still visible?

A screenshot might help us to see what is happening.

You may have removed the top panel. You'll need to recreate it.

Right-click on an existing panel > create new panel.
Position it to top, set its size and color as you see fit.
Once it's positioned, add to it, select the common stuff from the given defaut options, like menu, clock, shutdown button etc.

Which gives me an idea for an article ...
