Hello there. First of all, sorry for my suboptimal english. I recently bought an asus 900HD(celeron m 353@900mhz, 1 gig of ram and 160 gb hd). It came with xp, so i prepared a bootable usb pendrive on my desktop, and installed intrepid ibex on the netbook. All went smoothly, except that wireless wasnt working. I googled a bit and found the array repositories, and installed the eee kernel(2.6.27-8-eeepc, in particular). After a reboot, everything seemed to work, and i noticed there was a dir in /proc/eee where i could control several hw values by writing into files such as fan, fsb, etc. So the issue is this, the fan file works as expected and i can control the fan speed, but the fsb file seems to do nothing, and i either get a 900mhz if im pluged into ac, or a 630mhz system if im on batteries. Id like to be able to change the values on the fly, and thats the question. I know this can be done, or at least it can be done under windows. Any help or clues will be greatly apreciated.![]()
