Installing Fedora on top of a Windows installation

Now, I'm sure this impossible, But does Fedora's disk partitioning app allow resizing a disk using FULLY a NTFS partition.

I have 160GB free, (of a 250GB disk) and wanted to dedicate 60GB to fedora core 10 GNOME 64-bit, and have the CD ready anyways, If it was possible, Can I just tell it to just hda0 or whatever is calls partitions into hda0 + hda1, and have grub on the master boot partition?

    MY OS: WINDOWS XP

I would use the vista tool to shrink it's disk.

It's likley that you can create a partition in the resulting empty space, last time I installed fedora there was a linux partition I could use.

If it's a livecd you'll be able to get online from it and check further.

Where did I say I had Vista? Got rid of the garbage months ago.

Tell you what - reword the first post so that is actully makes some sense then we can all have another go.

Might be best not to talk about vista in it I'd say.

The partition manager in Knoppix can handle NTFS.

Regarding Fedora, you might get better information if you ask on their forums instead of here: http://fedoraforum.org/
