    how to install JavaFX?

    I'd like to start playing around with JavaFX. I tried to update the Java JVM and SDK through Synaptic Package Manager, but no luck there. The new versions don't seem to be in the repository yet. So, I guess I need to install manually. Can anyone point me toward directions for doing this?

    There's no JavaFX support for Linux nor Solaris, seems to come later, read more here:

    I heard there are workarounds by installing the mac version but haven't tried myself.

    yesterday were released the javafx SDK 1.2 JavaFx, now we can enjoy this!

    P.s. in the notes they say "ubuntu 8.04", but in 9.04 run too!
