Question Wiping USB Thumb Drive for re-installation

    Hey

A while back I made a 7.10 2gb USB Thumb drive. What's the easiest way to wipe the entire USB (I guess format it), so that I can then make a new installation of 8.10?

I have tried installing over it in Ubuntu, but no luck and I have tried formatting the drive but it only left me with about 700mb, and not the full 2gb.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks
