Well, if someone wants to tell me how to log my startup script, I could post that here, but I don't know how, sorry.
Anyway, about 50% of the time when my computer starts up in my main copy of Ubuntu, it has trouble recognizing my USB mouse and keyboard. It gets a timeout error and waits 5 seconds-but it does this over and over till it quits. I have two copies of Ubuntu on this computer on seperate partitions (for just such problems) and the other copy works fine.
Unfortunately, the copy that works fine is the copy that I have not downloaded games, saved shortcuts, etc. The only difference between the two is how often they are used and updated...
Anyone know how to get my computer to load the USB peripherals without this problem? (unpluging the devices doesn't work either, sorry).
Oh, computer is a dell inspiron desktop with an intel quad core chip.
