    Problem with Firefox in Ubuntu

I wasn't sure where to make this thread. My problem is that whenever I try to upload an image using Firefox, I cannot see what it is I am uploading.

All my files have numbered filenames, and it was very useful to see the preview of the image before uploading it when I ued Windows, but now I have to open the image folder.

Is there a real simple preferences dialog to change the size of the thumbnails in the upload box? Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if this an acceptable "work-around" for you, but you could drag-and-drop the image from nautilus into firefox. If you drop the image in a text field, the full path of the image will be inserted.

So if firefox does not offer the functionality you are looking for, at least this way you can avoid some typing.

Yes Michael, I presume thats a Firefox upload dialog - except I see NO thumbnail preview on the right hand side(!)

It would be wonderful to see such a preview. I merely see the tiny icons.

I am using ver.2.0.0.19 if that makes any difference.
