I want to play this old game and I found a deb package for it however when i try to start the game it opens a window for 1 second and then closes.

any idea how to fix this?

you must run the game from the console for debugging information

i do not know the game but maybe it uses wine

so it will be like this

from the console

wine ultima.exe

then the game will start and as you said it will crash
but in console there will be a debugging information

i got the game as a deb file

is there a command i can use in the terminal to see whats going on when i attempt to start it? i can see that it is the correct game when it begins to start but then disappears after 1 second
