    XDMCP crash in tsclient

    Hi all,

I recently got a new Dell and installed Ibex on it. No problems. What I want to do is to be able to launch an X session from the old box on the new box over the network. Much like VNC.

On the old box, I went to System-Admin-Login, and changed the remote login to be same as local. This is all working - when I get to the login screen on the new box, I can log into the old computer over XDMCP and use it just fine.

The problem arises when I try to use the tsclient. I installed xnest through synaptic, and now from the tsclient I can log into the old box in a window on the new box. The problem is that after I log in, while the panels are loading, a bunch of errors keep popping up, and then the xnest window holding the session on the old box automatically closes, but tsclient continues running. Both boxes are running fully up-to-date versions of Ibex.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Tom

I don't want to be that guy, but hopefully some fresh eyes might see this and have an idea of what is happening.

    Sorry to bug you all.
