Help needed: How to show album covers as icons for music files

I've tried ubuntu from a live cd on another computer. I was delighted that when I browsed the "My Music" folder on the mounted windows partition that on some of the music files album covers are shown. When I installed ubuntu on my pc I don't have that feature. All of the files are shown with the generic orange note icon. I there a way to enable this feature? I'm using ubuntu hardy.

Never wade in water you're afraid to swim in unless it's the Linux pond, cause there's always a life ring in the forums

to set the album covers as icons, you'd have to edit the properties of the files and change them to the image you desire.

On the live cd, somehow nautilus or ubuntu is able to read the metadata on the music file regarding the album that contains that song and fetches it from the net. I don't have to do anything. That's just my speculation and on the same ground music files with incomplete metadata are shown with the orange note icon. I'll edit later with a screenie on that pc running on the live cd.
