I trying to connect to a dedicated server using the server name, user name and password gaven to me by the provider. FileZilla establishes a connection but waits for a welcome message and then timesout.

This is constantly happening using FileZilla on the server and my desktop (Ubuntu/Vista). I need to transfer some files by tomorrow but can't connect. Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?
