Exclamation Is fractional scaling safe to use in Ubuntu 20.04?

My computer gets 1920*1080 resolution by default but as everything looks very much small in that resolution I used 150% fractional scaling but blurriness occurs oftenly and sometimes even the computer hangs and stops working and I have to shut down using power button.
My device is thinkpad e14 and this sort of thing didn't happen in Windows even though I used exactly same screen resolution and fractional scaling there also. What should I do now? Should I lower the resolution and disable fractional scaling or do something else?

I suggest you experiment to see what combinations of things work and don't work.

One non obvious way to make things bigger and not change resolution is go to appearance settings fonts and experiment with the dpi numbers also in firefox preferences home change the default zoom level which you have the choice of increasing for all or text only. Works for me with poor eyesight
