@cariboo: please change that horrible avatar

I've noticed that mods/admins change their avatars during certain seasons/holidays/or just_for_the_heck_of_it. I have a *feeling* they are prep'ing for Halloween. Er... If that is a selfie... apologies, in advance.

By the way I like the avatar Elfy is usually good for a funny one too.

VinDSL, please disregard my previous post. That links refers to 2013-09-23. I do see linux-next: next-20130927 2013-09-27 at https://www.kernel.org/, but no link to it. EDIT: Also there's nothing new in http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

Update₁: My bad, I posted this in 3.12... Mea culpa... I thought it could be interesting since we are (I suppose) getting 3.11 as a final kernel in SS... I've asked Mod.s to move this off-topic to right place... Forgive me...

Went ahead and installed it anyway to see if fixs were in, nvidia of course went fine but other stuff like keyboard lights blanking while typing still there Must be problems with 3.12 kernel patching for nvidia? Never seen it take this long for a patch to come in. I have tried various patches even the one from 3.11.08 to no avail on 3.12 kernel..(Oh well A for effort)
