    FreeDink : Dink Smallwood RPG

I just ran across the game today after upgrading to 9.10 and taking a look at the new software center.

It has very classic looking graphics, that remind you of much older RPGs. It's played in a 2D isometric view. I've only played it for around an hour but I'm enjoying it so far. The game has a nice sense of humor in it's story line but also some seriousness and interesting (but sometimes classical) plot twists that make you wonder what's going to happen next.

I thought I'd share this so any Linux goer can give this a try. It's a must try for anyone who likes classical RPGs.

I remember playing this years and years ago when it first came out for free. It's a fun game, a bit hard to get into at first, but entertaining.

Interesting game, I wonder why this game was on our game list at Ubuntu Gamers Arena. :S Oh well, I'll add it.

Would any of you be interested in writing a review of the game? We'd very much appreciate that, and you would be given credit of course.

I played and actually finished this seriously hard game a few years back (under Windows). It's absolutely brilliant, and I would recommend it to anyone. The story is quite humorous, and it has a few sidequests and little quirks to keep you entertained.

Dink is a nice game by itself, but it really shines for its extensive mod library.

Wow, very interesting! I saw the editor that's included with the game, but had no idea there were so many modules out there. Nice.

Some sounds are missing from FreeDink though - most noticably the "hit"-sounds.
