Evolution - hit send, then accidentally "Cancel" right after, email no send, lost?

on natty. yahoo.com smtp account.

i just typed up a very long and unduplicatable email, of importance and saved it as draft. once satisfied with content, i hit send. then i mistakenly hit the Cancel current operations button (ya know, the big red fecking circle with the X). it appears the email did NOT send and is NOT in the drafts folder. it is NOT in my sent or drafts folder on neither client nor server. i duplicated this with a test email.

is there any way to recover said email?

i believe i'm the first person in the history of ubuntu to have ever succeeded in doing this.

Have you looked in the Outbox?

nice. that is where it dumped itself. the cloud put a damper on my focus to think "locally." thanks david.
