Exclamation Changing the Look of Libreoffce

    Hi,

I just got a new computer and installed ubuntu in it. Since i am using 12.10 i decided to upgrade libre office from 3.6 default to 4.02 however for some reason it looks very different. Kindly please let me know how i can go back to the same look and fell which I have before. The current look of libreoffice is attached to this message. I have also attached how it looked before named Screenshot from 2013-04-30 14_47_56.jpg. The ribbon where they have all the options have changed. I have been looking on the net but i am not even sure what to call this and thus i am having a very difficult time looking for a solution. Kindly please let me know what i can do to go back to how it was before.

    Thanks,

Try changing the Libreoffice theme: see screenshot. Have you installed it from Ubuntu repos or some ppa?

Libreoffice now has better integration into the Unity way of doing things with File, Edit, View etc., appearing in the top panel with a mouse roll over to the top left. I, for one, am glad of this consistency.

But what does this mean for those of us who don't use Unity? I'm curious because I had to abandon Xara Xtreme for that very reason.

Well, for one, you have libreoffice-gnome to integrate with gnome-shell. I think there is something similar for other desktops as well.
