I'm Officially **** at Four-in-a-Row

I've just been playing some four-in-a-row vs the easiest AI there is, and I lost every game I played . I did play one last game however, just holding down the down arrow key and, weirdly enough, I won .

Anyone else want to share their experiences vs Gnome Games?

I don't think I have ever won a game of connect four in my entire life. I've developed a ridiculous hatred of the thing as a result :b

Ctrl+Z to undo your (and the computer's) move can be handy sometimes if you want to experiment with just how the AI engine gets it's logic from.

I'll never understand the touhou fan's glutton for punishment.

And yes, I dunno why four-in-a-row is so hard. Though I can now consistently beat it if I go first and follow a set number of moves. I don't understand why I win though. Anyway, if you think thats hard, try playing lagno (othello). I have NEVER beaten that game and still have no idea how. It makes me feel like an idiot.

I'm really good at connect four. I can beat almost any human, and I can beat the AI on ubuntu on level one and level 2.

But when it gets to level 3, damn, I can't beat it. Most I can do is just tie over and over.

Same here. I can also beat Iagno at any level (had tons of practice on a win 95 pc back in 1999 that had reversi and no modem).

You know I was just about to put a post on here about how rubbish you guys all are but then I had a quick go (or 6) and I can't win either!

It is 2am though so maybe I'm just tired...
