Your thread was jailed as you posted commands without sufficient explanation of what "/dev/sdc1" means and without knowing that this is (was) the correct partition to format.
Obviously formatting the wrong partition may result in data loss, so your post was jailed.
You were sent a PM explaining this to you:
Apparently there was a delay in the PM, sorry about that, but hopefully it is clear to you now.Your answer was dangerous with the potential to overwrite someone's data.
It was aimed at an unknown partition and you offered no explanation as to what it might do, how risky it is and how to check which partition is which.
For those reasons it was jailed.
In the future take a little more time to explain your commands.
