    Wireless issues

I am having firmware issues with Ubuntu 10.10

I got a Broadcom card and I have the correct driver too but it isn't working.

    I attached some info.

Could i get the reply in step by step easy to follow?
I only have internet in windows and I have no access to a Ethernet cable. So... yeah... its tough stuff cuz i'm a new Linux user.

Please let me know if there are any more issues thanks

Ahh, the joys of trying to get a Broadcom wireless driver working on Linux...I can relate to that

Where exacly did you get the drivers from, the broadcom website or the "hardware drivers" form on Ubuntu?

Could you post the output results of the commands "iwconfig" and "ifconfig"?
