Thanks for the git updates. After removing splash and quite, the boot process has no errors until it suddenly stops dead with the last item on screen:
saned disabled: edit /etc/default/saned
I don't believe saned is the problem but rather whatever should come next is freezing the process. I'll still play around with the boot options and see if it works.
Greetings,
is it possible to add the following app to this collection?

It has a casper folder and uses isolinux.
Thanks
Hi .....
thank you very much for this script...i`m now advising my friends & instructor to switch into linux distro...i wanna to make a DVD-DL with several OS so i can "show-explain=then=>try" the most suitable distro for them.
I`m facing a problem with the following Distro :MINT KATAY 32bit DVD (link).
i added macpup & mint but the script can not detect the linuxmint.iso even i changed the name of the dvd into linuxmint.dvd.
1-what is the problem?
2-would you mind adding Pinguy OS , Zorin OS ,& Fusion linux...these distros are ""out of the box"" ...they include every thing "drivers,codecs,...etc" they are really helpful esp if you are introducing linux to newbie as most of them says.."OS without codec or tools..programs? don bother go to windows".
thank you in advance & thank you ubuntu .
If you name the ISO "linuxmint.iso" then the script should detect it. If you name it anything not ending in .iso, then it won't.
I'll look into those other distros you mentioned. It shouldn't be hard to add them, but I'll have to download them first.
.

I am not sure what is the point of going through the troubles to make a multiboot live CDs. CDs are slow, noisy, bulky, fragile and can't save settings and burning CD is relatively easy to go wrong. Most netbooks don't even have CD ROMS. IMO CDs are dying technology going the way of floppies. I sure would not show off Linux to my friends with a live CD because that makes Linux looks so yesterday.
There is a tutorial for making a multi-boot usb
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1518273
There is also a Ubuntu utility for making multiboot usb that you can download and install
http://liveusb.info/dotclear/
Sorry for the spoiling the enthusiasm, I just can't see the point.
