    Open/Free Project

I do not like this site:
    http://outlinedepot.com/

I want to create a free version of it, where people can upload/download law school outlines. Can you guys think of any open source software packages that I could use for this project? Preferably something with a simple php/mysql install. I was thinking something wiki, but that may be a bit too complex for people (and me).

    Um... Opengoo, maybe eGroupware.

But I really think you are looking for a wiki, so try mediawiki.

Those are interesting. I was thinking of something less dedicated to an organization. I think you may be right about mediawiki, but that may be too difficult for the average user to use. Can you think of anything that is dedicated to just uploading files, and allowing them to be sorted by categories?

Umm... The only thing that comes to mind is a simple uploader (probibly ftp), and a simple database. I can't think of any particular apps to do 'just' that, but it shouldn't be too hard to make.
