Oh, hi. So, yeah, I've got this screenshot here. Haven't done one of these in a while, because it's been that long since I thought my desktop was share-worthy. But that has finally been remedied. Greybird and Faenza look wonderful together.





Xfce4-DockbarX-Plugin is coming back. In fact, that is what I am running in that vertical panel there. I'm much happier with it than I was with the old version, because instead of determining how it should be styled in literally the most ungraceful way possible, I use manual configuration and expose a nice little gui for so doing. I think that'd make a good linux programming philosophy. "If you can't determine it gracefully, ask the user." It also handles orientation and screen positioning by itself. It's much, much better, and I'll be in touch with DBX's maintainer soon about it. I heartily recommend vertical panels if you find yourself short on screen space.

P.S. Yes, I know the network link is broken. I broke it on purpose because it breaks Thunar pretty bad when it's fixed.

it's hard to see in the shot but the buttons are barely lighter than the window decor. they lighten when moused over.

edit: my bad, in the metacity theme the buttons do disappear if the window is inactive.
