Problem with live streaming only in certain websites

When i try to watch this "snipped" channel's live stream then it loads for some time and then pops up a message 'The streaming video is currently not available; the player will automatically start playing as soon as it is available'.. It only happens with this site. Not with any other live streaming sites. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem. thanks a lot..

I just read the forum rules, But then again wouldnt it be better to remove the link once someone solves the problem. Even though a lot of live streaming sites work well, i only have a problem with this particular one. And hence i thought it would be better for someone to give the exact link i am talking about. The only problem is i have to restart in windows everyime i want to watch this link.

And by 'The link is working', Did you mean that the stream loads withou any problems?.. The video loads at first but it stops after a minute or so and then no more streaming happens and the stream currently not available message pops up.

I try the link and I had the same as you, it give me also that message. I don't now how to resolve the problem.

What you can do to prevent that a link is removed is that you left a space between the http: and the following // than it is no longer working directly.
Like this: http: //ubuntu.com

@nithinrao : your explanation makes sense. We get a lot of first posts from accounts (even though I know there are people behind these, they are not real UF users) that just come in to post a link and spam the forums. As your first post was on the edge, I simply removed the link, waiting to see if this was a spam post (to be treated as such) or a legitimate post.

I did not wait when I tested the link, the video started and I then closed the tab.

Ah, OK i understand the problems you face, and also like heir4c suggests is it ok to post the link like http: \\www.something?

If you have issues with this site only, you can obfuscate the link so that is does not backlinks to the site, such as heir4c suggested : insert a space somewhere in the url. For ex : http://ubu ntuforums.org
