As of today (or maybe yesterday or the day before), it seems that "packages.medibuntu.org" no longer resolves, and the former IP address of the server, 88.191.127.22, is no longer pingable. It's Gone.

Has anyone with better knowledge than me got advice on what to do with systems which are currently using packages from Medibuntu? We can disable the medibuntu repositories in the sources list, but presumably that leaves unmaintained packages on the system which are not being updated and could cause a security risk if vulnerabilities are found in them.

You can get libdvdcss2 from the Debian multimedia repository: http://mirror.home-dn.net/debian-mul...ibd/libdvdcss/
Well that was easy enough. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Merged threads to keep the discussion of medibuntu in one thread.
It seems that packages.medibuntu.org is back up again - so maybe the outage earlier today was a temporary glitch. I note the Medibuntu website is saying "Maintainer Wanted" as mentioned but for now at least the site and the repository are back up.
