Spilled the Beans
Hola Gente,
Configuré mi router para que mande eventos por syslog a la PC pero tengo un problema.
Estoy usando Karmic de 64 bits y un router Linksys.
La cosa es que logré logear al router pero veo que no llegan todos los eventos.
Hay algún filtro? PUede ser un tema del router?
Qué les parece?

From what I understand you are having troubles with your Linksys router (my Spanish is a bit rusty) and syslog will not report problems with the router itself.
If you have a problem with your router I would be glad to help but this is really the wrong place for Linksys router help.
Let me know if I understood correctly. If I did it would be helpful to post your router configuration (It would really be nice to do this in a Google Doc then we could collaborate there instead since from what I understand this doesn't seem to be a Ubuntu problem).

el 514 UDP lo tenes abierto para recepcion/transmision?
lo del puerto lo lei aca: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syslog me imagino que en realidad debe pasar por algo de ahi. Salu2!
