RC6 tested and stable so far. The problem with USB flashdisk is fixed.
Testing 3.9.0-rc6 compiled from source. Sound doesn't seem full, seems flat... Sound tested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1ZoKkTyWuE (It's King Diamond Abigail 2) Compared to windows 8, the sound is flat (even when ran through a av-receiver 9.2 surround) Is there any mixer other than gnome-alsamixer or pavucontrol? I'll have to see if I have gst-plugins-meta installed correctly and see if I missed any. probably don't have dts installed.

@JMB if you are really using RR, then you should also have gcc-4.7* packages installed
Originally Posted by dino99 @JMB if you are really using RR, then you should also have gcc-4.7* packages installed I do. I have 4.6.x as well as 4.7.x, as I need previous versions for some jobs. Sorry, I misread that upgrade as 4.7.4 rather than 4.6.4.

Anyway, 3.9 RC7 is seems to be be working very nicely here. Had some graphics corruption on resume from s2disk with previous RCs, but so far seems to good with RC7.
