    Gazp6 mSATA SSD?

I'm aware that the model does have a PCIe port, my question is:
Has anyone tried adding storage through an MSATA card?
Is said port enabled for other PCIe functions such as a 3G modem?

Any help is welcomed. I'd like to have an mSATA SSD to increase boot time and storage in the main drive of the model. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of a customer using an mSATA drive in the PCIe port, but to my knowledge, it should work just fine. That said, the Gazelle has only one PCIe port, and replacing the default WiFi card removes both Bluetooth and WiFi capability from the laptop, since both are provided by the stock WiFi card.

My GazP6 appears to have two? One is in use by the wireless card, and the other (seemingly identical) slot is empty. Am I missing something?

...This is also something I have been interested in, just haven't had an mSATA to test with.

This is true. There are two.
    I found Clevo's version of the Gazp6:
    http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/products/...?productid=308

and it confirms this. The site however only mentions the port being used for a 3G modem
I'll be trying the mSATA soon and let you know how it goes.

Learning is more often than not trial and error in my case haha.

    Re: Gazp6 mSATA SSD?

Alright, so my SSD finally arrived. [ that took longer than expected]
and it fit like a glove in the PCIe port.
But it seems as the BIOS isn't picking up anything from that port.

is it disabled by default? If so, anyone know how to enable it?

On boot options it reads the wireless card just fine on the other PCI port, but the SSD doesn't show up.
