I have un-installed previous device completely and configure new device but showing connection failed on every attempt while trying to connect.(I have checked Password, address, etc every thing is correct). this device is working perfectly on windows 7.

Question Re: PTCL EVO 3G nitro device configuration?

Any progress on having a solution to this. I am having the same problem my device is AC2791. Would appreciate if the solution is posted on the forum rather than helping over the phone as this way many other users will be able to get help.

Re: PTCL EVO 3G nitro device configuration?

I was blessed to get this connection worked for once only, i do not know how it worked, but after that whenever i click it to connect from network drop down menu, it appears to say you "off line" I have checked password, user name again & again but all in vein. Modem is working perfectly on Ubuntu 11.10 and windows 7 as well. Only problem with 12.04LTS. it is deducted and i configured User name & Password in VPN connections, it is showing but whenever i hit connect, it says off line. I have installed 12.04 in a new laptop and also its works one time only after that the same problem appeared, i do not know why? due to this connection problem i have to stick with windows which i do not like.
