Discord not working since upgrade

Discord updated earlier in the week and gave no option to not upgrade. Since then it is not working as an app, only through their webpage. I'm running Ubuntu 20.
Numerous reviews on the Ubunutu Software Centre say that it isn't working but I'm wondering if anyone has got it working?

I've messaged Discord support and they have been useless, suggesting I load their test version (Canary) which is unstable or that the problem is at my end.

I've sorted this.
You need to go to the files manager, find the "discord-0.016.deb" then right click and choose the "Open with other application" option and choose "Package Installer"
