Google is a useful tool, some people ought to try it sometimes:

    I know this download link.
If you click on download, you get an automatic installation via browser and I need a deb package of this client.

I'm not sure it's offered anywhere as a deb installer. Even the Debian Wiki page suggests the standard method of getting it (if that's relevant):

    http://wiki.debian.org/VMware

Why do you specifically need a debian package of the installer?

Sorry, I misread what you're looking for. I was thinking you wanted the player or workstation or whatever. Still, David's advice is the best. The top link with a Google search "vmware view client 1.6 deb download" gave me:

    https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source...0ubuntu0.12.10

Download the package from synaptic (or whatever method you prefer) and copy the .deb file from the cache folder (that's what I did).
