Dunno if it's relevant, but I'm using a RT3090 network card, and ever since I used it, I had very slow speed if using the laptop on battery power. Last month or two, it's ben fine though, I assume an update fixed that?
Hi, please do:
Change your wireless settings in network manager to match the screenshots.Code:echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k sudo modprobe -v ath9k
Thanks
Hi, it does not help that there are so many networks next to yours, please set your channel to 1 or 11.
Post the contents of:
Please post screenshots of your wireless settings like I did in my previous post so we can make sure they are the same.Code:gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2133296&page=2 Post 16.
and read the following posts because you will still likely need the other settings as well.
Thanks
