Before someone tells me to search, I did and couldn't find anything on my particular problem (I might be using the wrong search terms, but still). The problem I'm facing is on an Asus eee pc and I have the new Ubuntu 10.10 launcher overlapping with a very old or custom launcher that still appears after several updates of the OS.

My question is how do I remove the old/custom launcher without breaking anything?
