Ahh, only a few short hours and my problem is solved! i just tried connecting via ethernet cable and the Broadcom driver was available for download - problem solved.

Confirmed broadcom-sta drivers work (after activating via hardware drivers in kickoff>system>hardware drivers, missed that one).
I have a Dell N5010 and I am facing the same problem even after doing this from System drivers in ubuntu....
Please tell me some other solution....
It always shows Wireless not connected..... after installing the driver from there.....![]()
