Cannot set default status for Empathy

    hi there!

i'm new to empathy. so far i used emesene, which is the greatest tool available if you're only interested in msn-chatting.

i'm having a problem with empathy. when i log in the status is set to online. when i change it to busy, log out and log back in, the status goes back to online. i want busy to be my default status, whenever i log in and whenever i'm logged in. unfortunately, i couldn't find an option to do so. am i missing something?

    thanks a lot,
    cheers,

    crowhill.

Empathy chat does not have the ability to do that . Use pidgin.

(disclaimer: I think pidgins are cute)

    Thanks for that!

    I'll give it a try.

This feature is the only reason I'm still using Pidgin instead of Empathy.
