    Sound completely broken after hibernation.

    Hello,

    I am not able to use my PCI sound card for a month now. The sound completely broke after hibernation. Yesterday i upgraded from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 in hope that upgrade would fix the problem, but no luck. I tried virtually every troubleshooting guide on the net, and still nothing. I need someone with good knowledge to help me figure this thing out.

    As you can see i have also integrated sound card. These two cards coexisted without any problems. I just set in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf index 0 for C-Media and index 1 for integrated one. I checked settings many times, and everything looks OK. After all, nothing changed since the working condition. Worst thing is i clicked "hibernate" by mistake instead of reboot.
