lucid lynx kern.log sys.log and messages issue

hi i have a rather large issue... the affore mentioned files keep growing to total more than 30GB of disk space.... how can i report this to the dev's ?
better yet fix it

I suspect you have another issue... 30GB of logs is big. There must be a lot of repetition in them. What is the most common line in them?

should have noted i no longer have the logs at present... i sudo rm /var/log/kern.log /var/log/kern.log.1 /var/log/messages.1 /var/log/ufw.log.1 /var/log/syslog.1 /var/log/syslog /var/log/messages /var/log/ufw.log

it will come back
