    KDE audio driver issue

    Hii since yesterday night whenever I start my system , I get the below notification..:-

    "KDE detected that one or more internal sound devices were removed.
    Do you want KDE to permanently forget about these devices?
    This is the list of devices KDE thinks can be removed:
    Capture: HDA Intel (ALC888 Analog) #1... should KDE permanently forget this device"...

    and I click "No"....

    Can someone tell me what this is all about and how to solve it .. please..

    Hii seemed that there was some phonon update yesterday which might have done this... after doing the below:-rm $HOME/.kde/share/config/phonondevicesrc.. i dont have any issues now.. thanks to Mamarok, who is found on Kubuntu IRC .
