gDesklets not running

Any idea where I can start determining the source of the bug?

I ran apt-get remove gdesklets, apt-get auto-remove, apt-get autoclean, apt-get clean, and then reinstalled it and it still doesn't work.

Any help would be great... or ad suggestion for an alternative.

One thing I should mention is that this is in Lucid. Would it be best to put this post in the Lucid forums?
