sabayan Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller

Hey guys, i found a very interesting thing for this hardware, on Sabayan Linux the card works almost flawlessly (games such as Open Arena and Nexuiz work flawlessly as far as my hardware can go).

Yet in ubuntu when running either game the graphics are not even rendered correctly! Walls are missing, guns, floors, everything! sometimes its just a black screen and flickers with the rendering objects and then dies to black screen again.

Makes me think, what drivers are Sabayan using for the mobile intel?

I did a bit of research on intel drivers and found this site: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/index.html

But i couldn't even tell you where to start... please any help is appreciated! I've been wanting to record my desktop with gtk-recordmydesktop for a few tutorials on how to use ubuntu but this graphics problem is preventing me from doing so =(
(recording is choppy, even with compiz off...)

    Please help!

When trying to use gtk-recordmydesktop this is the output...

its very laggy and just... plain weird. This is with compiz OFF, with copmiz on it does the same thing, is this related to my problem?

[EDIT] Nevermind, i turned on encode on the fly and the video was perfect... odd.
