Looking for a linux version for an ARM CPU

I'm thinking about getting a few of these laptops off of ebay and turning them into digital photo frames for christmas gifts.

The thing is, they use an ARM processor, and I don't know of any light-weight linux distributions that I could quickly and easily use to turn into a picture frame OS.

Ubuntu comes with an ARM version. You can find Linux images for ARM architectures here.

I don't think Ubuntu would run on that computer.
Put ChromeOS on it, ese! That computer is exactly what Chrome was made for.

If it will run Debian, it will run Ubuntu. They're not that different.

    I would avoid them.
Look at the hardware, Arm 266, 128mb RAM...?
Capable of running a file server, but that's about it.

I would demand a refund for not using WinCE.

Give maemo.org a try. It might run well on that hardware.
