[SOLVED]Upgraded to 9.10. Synaptic doesn't work
I've just upgraded my jaunty 9.04 to karmic 9.10. I have internet through the wireless network and everything had worked until I did the upgrade. The wireless is OK, I can browse with Firefox, talk with Pidgin etc. but I cannot update anything and install from Synaptics repositories - it just tells me that the reaction time was too long, like there is no connection.
And also in the Synaptic Manager it shows "Application problem": <<Sorry, the program "update-apt-xapian-index" closed unexpectedly">>...
