    BCM4318 and 9.1

    Hi guys, back again!

With the advent of Ubuntu releasing 9.1 and my HDD crashing at the same time, I figured I would go back and try out Ubuntu hoping that it would work out of the box with my BCM4318 wireless card like OpenSuse did. However, it did not

It seems none of the tutorials I can find relates to 9.1, and if they do seem like they will work they don't I would really like to get this working. Can anybody help me out?

    Thanks!

I am having similar issues with the bcm4318 driver trying to use ndiswrapper with no luck... If anyone has any helpful info it would be appreciated

I found a thread that worked for my 4318 card you need to use the b43 driver and extract firmware. here is the link to the page http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#fw-b43-new I am running ubuntu 9.10 and used the linux 2.6.25 and newer with firmware 4.150.10.5 from broadcom
