    Cool Grub Error 8

I am dual-booting OS X-Jaunty64 with no boot problems until now. I believe the incidence was caused when I tried to remove the Linux Swap partition in OS X via the Disk Utility app.

When I attempt to boot Ubuntu I get the follow:

    Code:
    grub> _
and this error when I attempt to execute 'boot'
    Code:
    grub> boot
    Starting up...

Error 8: Kernel must be loaded before booting
AFAIK this is an easy fix, something about fixing the boot menu file or something? Thanks

Bonus question: I also only made 128MB available for swap when I first installed Ubuntu. Is this enough? If not, how much is and how do I change it.

    Thanks in advance!
I like OS X better, actually.

    Re: Grub Error 8

Figured out how to boot into Ubuntu using the GRUB CLI.
    Code:
    configfile (hdX,Y)/boot/grub/menu.list
Now how do I configure it so that it boots automatically?
I like OS X better, actually.
