    Phrack is back!

Check it out... PHRACK #66, June 2009 has been released! The infamous hacking/phreaking ezine has been on an annual release cycle for a couple of years, and when this year's issue didn't appear in April, many of us thought the worst. What made it feel especially ominous was the fact that for a while, visitors to phrack.org were confronted with a blank page rather than the usual horny individual.

But now it's here. I discovered this mere minutes ago, and I haven't read a word of it yet. But I shall. And so should you.

So, what do you think of it?

    Re: Phrack is back!

Well, I think everyone who's interested in this kind of stuff has had the opportunity to at least give Phrack #66 a once-over. So, what do you all think?

I'm quite pleased about the amount of technical stuff that's been in the past few issues. Except most of it goes right over my head! I like to think I'm at least as techy as the next man. But that's only true if the next man is as daft as me. But I try...

But I thought "How close are they of hacking your brain?" was wonderful. All pretty speculative (though dahut did talk about present-day technology - doesn't Henry Markram's lab kit sound juicy?)

    His
lab is using a 10.000 CPU Blue Gene type IBM supercomputer, and a super
Silicon Graphic computer with 16 graphic cards and 64 Itanium 2 CPU to
    display processing results.
But the "science fiction" stuff isn't as outlandish as it may first appear. Dahut has just extrapolated from what is already possible today, what may be possible tomorrow, to what ought to be possible next week. Some very interesting links in the Comments too.

Anyway, that's enough from me. What about you?
