Wireless Networks are now Hidden but weren't previously

    Hi,

So I'm using an Atheros wireless card, running Intrepid.

My wireless has been working fine, although things go really really slow.

I've had no real issues until today. Normally when I turn on the computer, I see all the wireless networks in range. But this time, when I booted up...there were no wireless networks available. Where I am there should be about 10 of them. I see an option to connect to a 'hidden network'. When I click that, I see two of the networks that are usually in range, one is an unsecured connection, the other is my connection, secured. When I chose to connect to my network, it asks me for my WPA2 password, and I input it. It's the same as it's always been. But it immediately disconnects from the network . I've tried changing the password for my router, but it still won't work.

I believe there is some kind of setting that was changed somehow on my wireless card/driver/something...I need to know how to make these usual wireless connections NOT HIDDEN!!

    thanks
