I have a laptop(in signature) connected via vga to an external 22" 1680x1050 Hanns-G flat panel LCD monitor. When I first bought it about a month ago I just plugged it in and ran nvidia-settings to load it which worked great up until last nite. Now for some reason my monitor shows up as a CRT-0 with a max res of 640x480?! I figured it had to of been an update that broke my system so I reinstalled my video driver(173.14.12) with no success. Tried running X -configure but that just creates a busted xorg so I reverted back to a backup. I have no clue where else to look.

Anyone else have there system break on a recent update?
